Workforce reporting

See recorded labour against the work it belongs to.

Construction labour reporting that connects timesheets, job budgets and approved cost rates. See overruns and resolve allocation gaps without replacing payroll.

Review attendance and job-hour exceptions.

Bring recorded time, job allocation and attendance exceptions together. A supervisor sees what needs review without chasing separate exports.

Workforce reporting

Bring recorded attendance, timesheets and labour allocation beside the job. A supervisor can review the hours and exceptions without chasing separate reports.

Find the jobs using more hours than planned.

Compare budgeted hours with recorded hours for the same scope. An overrun is a prompt to investigate, not a judgement about an individual.

  • Keep overtime and ordinary hours distinguishable.
  • Review site conditions and scope changes with the supervisor.

Resolve time that has no job.

A shift can cover two sites. Let the supervisor allocate the recorded time and check the total before it feeds the job report.

  • Preserve total hours from the source timesheet.
  • Do not silently edit payroll.

Explain the labour cost, not just the hours.

Apply the agreed cost basis to approved time. Keep employment cost assumptions visible and restrict individual detail to authorised users.

  • Use approved rates, not AI guesses.
  • Distinguish cost rates from customer charge-out rates.

What we check before building

Timesheets, job identifiers, permitted worker records, budgeted hours and approved cost rates.

These are illustrative workflows, not a ready-made platform or live client results. We agree the supported connections, approval points and acceptance tests before implementation.

Questions about delivery

Can you connect Deputy or Connecteam?

We assess the selected platform, API access, plan entitlements and available fields. We do not assume the same access for every account or include a workforce migration by default.

Can we compare budgeted and actual labour hours?

Yes where time entries and budgets can be linked to the same job and scope. Unallocated time is flagged separately.

Can managers see individual worker costs?

Only where suitable records and permissions exist. Worker-level access is restricted and the cost basis is agreed with accounts.

Does this calculate payroll?

No. The examples show operational job-cost reporting and review. Payroll calculations or edits require separate approved scope.

Can location data prove that work was completed?

No. Available attendance or location records can support an exception review, but are not proof of productivity or completed work.

What if timesheets are incomplete?

The report shows the missing or unallocated time and assigns a review task. It does not treat absent data as zero labour.
