Check the claim before it leaves the office.

  • Keep preparation separate from issuing an invoice.

  • Use contract-specific release stages.
  • Prepare a reminder for review.

What we check before building

Contract and work-item identifiers, certified progress, prior claims, variation approvals and agreed retention rules.

These are illustrative workflows, not a ready-made platform or live client results. We agree the supported connections, approval points and acceptance tests before implementation.

Questions about delivery

Can you create progress claims automatically?

We can connect supported claim data and prepare a review workflow. Calculation, certification and issuing rules must match your contract and source system.

Can you show BOQ line-item invoicing percentages?

Only when invoice or claim lines have reliable links to the relevant work items. Otherwise we agree a mapping or controlled review step.

Does percentage paid equal percentage invoiced?

No. Invoice progress and payment receipts are shown separately. Payments recorded at invoice level do not automatically prove which BOQ line has been paid.

Can you track retentions with two release stages?

We can model agreed release stages where the contract and data support them. The workflow flags dates and prepares actions rather than assuming release has occurred.

Do pending variations increase the contract value?

Not by default. Pending and approved changes remain separate and follow the rules agreed with your team.

Is this legal advice about payment claims?

No. The workflow follows your approved contract and accounting rules. Legal compliance and disputed entitlements require your qualified adviser.
